The M06-T1 Quick-Change Tool Block is a static tool holder that adapts industry-standard CAT 40 and BT 40 milling tool holders to CNC lathe turrets, giving shops access to a vast, readily available tooling ecosystem without committing to proprietary lathe holders. Tool changes are completed in under three minutes, expanding turret capability without the cost of other quick-change lathe tool holding systems.

Switch tools with a few turns of a wrench.

On the back of the block is a pull stud with a 5/8" hex. Simply put your tool holder into the taper, line up the drive lug on the tool holder with the locating lug on the block and tighten. Taking the tool back out is just as easy. The retention plate on the back prevents the pull stud from backing out. You can just toss the wrench back on, loosen the pull stud, and the tool holder will unseat from the taper and be ready to take out. 

You have control of the coolant.

At the core of the M06-T1 is an integrated coolant valve system. The operator can select thru-spindle, flood, both, or off directly at the block, delivering coolant precisely where it is needed for each operation without re-plumbing the machine or plugging ports. Dual aluminum manifolds supply four 1/8" NPT coolant connections, giving you options for coolant delivery but comes standard with four short M08 Laminar Flow Coolant Nozzles and four of your choice.

Have tools that you switch between frequently? With four coolant ports you can set the nozzles to hit different points of the tool or you have tools that you switch between frequently that are different lengths, you can set two nozzles up to hit one and two nozzles up to hit the other eliminating the need to adjust them between tools. 

The block is machined from heat treated alloy steel and nickel plated for corrosion resistance and long service life in continuous production environments. The M06-T1 is built to professional manufacturing standards for shops that demand reliability, flexibility, and precision from their tooling.
